Our business
The endocrine oncologist is a department within the blood and tumor diseases area of operation located in the 100 building. The department currently has 16 care places on weekdays and 12 places during the weekend. With us, you will get a varied job where you get to combine nursing with certain emergency medical care that may arise in connection with treatments. The department has close cooperation with other departments/receptions within our area of operation.
Some of the most common diagnoses are neuroendocrine tumors (NET), thyroid cancer and lymphoma. We strive for continuous development and to be part of highly specialized cancer care. We have highly specialized care, which means that we are nurse-intensive.

Your assignment
You will work together in a care team with an assistant nurse where you are responsible for the care around the patients. It is an exciting job where you get to meet people in many different stages of their illness. We mainly work with investigation and treatment. When investigating a patient, the work largely consists of anamnesis, clinical assessment, sampling and preparation for examinations. We have maintenance of central entrances as well as a lot of use of peripheral entrances here. We have many patients who come from other parts of Sweden but also Europe. Our treatment patients come regularly for infusion treatments such as cytostatics/immunotherapy and as a nurse you then focus on monitoring and medical technology. Also specific to 100A is that we provide various forms of targeted radiotherapy as well as an advanced oncology treatment with CAR-T. You will also be part of a skilled team that supports and helps each other while you will work independently.
Your qualifications
You are a registered nurse. You may be completely new to the profession or have worked as a nurse for a long time.
We offer
Permanent position, length of service can be discussed. Probationary employment may be applied. Access by agreement. The working hours are set to rotation.
- 4 to 5 weeks of introduction with experienced nurse and regular reconciliations with supervisor/manager
- Hospitalization at other units within our business
- Internal lectures and scheduled training sessions
- Patient-free days where you can, for example, focus on working with areas of responsibility.
- A clinical development year (KUÅ) (20% of your working time) is included for all newly graduated nurses, where you can deepen your knowledge.
- Opportunity to participate in the cancer care academy, which is our development program that generates a paid specialist training.
