Nurse for the mental health and substance abuse services team of social welfare center in Kuopio

We are looking for a psychiatric nurse to substitute for the welfare area of ​​Pohjois-Savo, in the mental health and substance abuse services team of the social welfare center for the period 2 September 2024 – 31 May 2025.

Sotekeskus’ MiePä team works at Kuopio’s main health center and the task is placed in the follow-up work group aimed at psychotic patients, which acts as follow-up of psychiatric psychotic patients after special hospital treatment.

Job content
-follow-up care of patients with severe psychological symptoms after specialized medical treatment
-acting as a psychiatric nursing expert: group guidance, planning, implementation and evaluation of the treatment process
-development of mental health work and nursing work

We will familiarize you with the task and you will be able to use your skills in a versatile way. The salary is realized in accordance with the SOTE agreement and after the familiarization period, the salary for each task is €2918.41/month.

Would you be the person we are looking for?

Eligibility requirements for the position are a nursing degree and a certificate from the Social and Health Licensing and Supervision Agency (Valvira) on the right to work as a licensed nurse, as well as training in the field of psychiatry. We also value experience in psychiatric work, especially with psychotic patients.

– Those selected for employment in the Pohjois-Savo welfare area are occasionally asked to present a drug certificate.

vaccination protection according to it.
