The German Diabetes Center (DDZ) is a Leibniz Center for Diabetes Research at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf. As an interdisciplinary research institution, the DDZ connects molecular and cell biological basic research with clinical, epidemiological, and healthcare-related research approaches.

The DDZ aims to develop new approaches to the prevention, early detection and diagnosis of diabetes mellitus and to improve the therapy and care of diabetes and its complications.

To provide commercial support for the "Technology" department of the German Diabetes Center, we are looking for a [position title] to start as soon as possible.

Commercial support in the field of technology (m/f/d)

Full-time (part-time possible)

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Preparation of tenders for major contracts in the course of building maintenance.
• Obtaining quotes for external orders.
• Coordinating appointments with external companies.
• Internal and external invoice auditing, and, if necessary, internal coordination with purchasing and financial accounting.
• Writing orders and purchase orders.

Skills & Expertise

• Completed training as a real estate agent with technical knowledge or as a technician (m/f/d) with commercial knowledge
• Several years of professional experience in a commercial field.
• Technical understanding.
• Prior experience in creating tender documents is advantageous.
• Independent and responsible work ethic, high quality standards.
• Teamwork skills, commitment and initiative.
• Good German and English skills, both spoken and written.
