Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in program or project management.
• 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.

Preferred qualifications:

• Subject matter expertise in compliance, with a demonstrated track record of implementing effective compliance programs or advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, compliance, or law) with expertise in one of the following areas: content moderation, AI safety, privacy, consumer protection, or competition regulations.
• Ability to influence and motivate partner teams in highly ambiguous and complex environments, without direct authority.
• Ability to tailor communications to inform and influence different stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear and concise narratives for communications, presentations and reports

Responsibilities

• Influence and shape emerging regulations through effective advocacy of T&S equities.
• Provide T&S leadership with early visibility on emerging regulations and thematic trends.
• Work with legal to understand regulatory requirements and translate them into concrete, actionable steps for T&S teams.
• Work with a wide range of cross-functional stakeholders across Google to program manage implementation towards day 1 readiness. Communicate status updates effectively and escalate risks appropriately .
• Provide compliance subject matter expertise to T&S stakeholders to drive strategic decision making and minimize unnecessary regulatory impact.
