Ylä-Savo’s wards are primary health care wards with 26-30 beds, where patients who are acutely ill and need short-term hospital treatment and rehabilitation are treated. Ward 3 is a 26-bed acute and rehabilitation ward. Patients come to the department from the emergency room or special medical care for follow-up care. Patients are received around the clock.

What kind of work are we looking for you as a colleague?

The nurse’s job description includes comprehensive clinical care of acute and rehabilitation patients in a multidisciplinary team. The work takes place in three shifts. The most important partners are located on the side of specialized medical care, such as KYS departments and the emergency room, as well as outpatient care operators, such as outpatient clinics, home care and housing services.

The salary is realized in accordance with the SOTE agreement, and after the familiarization period, the task-specific salary is in accordance with the SOTE agreement, €2761.29/month + supplements. The job is 3-shift work.

Eligibility and other considerations:

Eligibility requirements for the position are a nursing degree and a certificate from the Social and Health Supervisory Agency Valvira on the right to work as a licensed nurse.

Your previous work experience and familiarity with bed department operations will be considered to your advantage. We value patient-orientation, good working community and cooperation skills, initiative, readiness for change, flexibility and a willingness to develop. You can be at the beginning of your career or a nurse with more experience, attitude counts! 

– Those selected for employment in the Pohjois-Savo welfare area are randomly asked to present a drug certificate.
– We comply with the provisions of Section 48 of the Infectious Diseases Act, we recommend that all of our employees working in customer/patient positions receive vaccination protection according to them.
– A (4) month trial period is used when choosing a service relationship.
