Job Description

 Job Purpose 
The Staff Nurse is accountable for the coordination of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education and transitions of care. The Staff Nurse supports professional nursing practice across the continuum of care to meet the needs of the patient and family. The Staff Nurse will understand, support and promote the mission, vision and values of SSMC; provides age-appropriate patient care according to the Nursing Scope of Practice as defined by the regulatory body. The Staff Nurse will adhere to and promote the Professional Nurses Code of Conduct for Abu Dhabi and UAE.

🌟 Experience Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess a minimum of two years of clinical experience following qualification, ideally within a relevant healthcare setting. However, graduates from UAE nursing colleges or universities are exempt from this requirement upon successful completion of their internship, recognizing the rigorous training provided locally.

🎓 Educational Qualifications

Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, or alternatively, a Nursing degree with a minimum two-year course duration. In addition, candidates must be registered as a Registered Nurse in one of the following countries: Canada, USA, UK, Ireland, South Africa, New Zealand, or Australia. A valid and current national license is essential to practice, along with certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
