We are now looking for a road worker for Base Maintenance Northern Boshuslän with an establishment in Uddevalla. In the role of road worker, your main task is to inspect the road network in the area and report any deficiencies and then rectify these. We work with operation and maintenance-related tasks, bare ground maintenance and winter road maintenance. Together, you and your colleagues ensure that quality and safety are always the highest priority.
The position includes summer and winter preparedness with responsibility for calling out salt trucks and plough units. During the standby, you as a professional employee take supervisory responsibility and control the work and communication with Svevia’s subcontractors. In the position, you will be supported by close management and committed colleagues.
The position is full-time and located at one of our establishments, Uddevalla or Tanumshede. Working hours are normally between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. The work is of a physical nature and takes place outdoors. Start immediately or as agreed. At Svevia, we apply individual salary setting. Who are you?
To succeed in the role, we see it as a requirement that you have:
- Opportunity to work during standby time, both during winter and summer seasons.
- An interest in digital working methods and processes
- Good knowledge of Swedish spoken and written
If you have previously worked with operation and maintenance work, and have WPA training, we consider it a merit.
