Registered Nurse – ICU/CCU Job Vacancy in UAE
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with a minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in ICU and CCU to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, monitoring and managing critical care patients, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the ICU and CCU settings.
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs, administer medications and treatments, and assess patient progress.
- Implement and manage advanced life support measures such as mechanical ventilation, continuous renal replacement therapy, and intra-aortic balloon pump.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including physicians, respiratory therapists, and social workers to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on disease processes, treatments, and discharge plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, staff development programs, and research activities to enhance the delivery of patient care.
- Serve as a resource and mentor for other nursing staff members.
- Provide compassionate and empathetic care to patients and their families.
Requirements:
Active Registered Nurse license in good standing.
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in ICU and CCU settings.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to manage complex and rapidly changing patient conditions.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to efficiently manage patient care and documentation.
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and continuous professional development.
- Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.
