Pharmacist Job Vacancy in Dubai, United Arab Emirates

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Dispense medications to medical outpatient/ inpatient per outpatient prescription or inpatient medication. 

1. Reviews and interprets each prescription/ medication order before dispensing to a certain correctness of strength, dose instructions and dosage form.

1. Provides appropriate patient information concerning the dispensed medications.

1. Advise/ questions/ clarified any prescription abnormality with the prescribing physician. Any unresolved problems are referred to chief pharmacist.

1. Answers drug related inquiries received from physicians, dentist and nurses. Those inquiries which cannot be answered with certainty are to be referred to the chief pharmacist.

1. Assists in the training of pharmacist and new pharmacist staff as per the direction of the chief pharmacist.

1. Performs specialty pharmacy activities, as delegated and trained.

1. Performs other miscellaneous duties, as directed by the chief pharmacist.

QUALIFICATIONS

1 Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology

 4.2 At least two (2) years of Medical Laboratory experience.

 4.3 Currently licensed in country of origin and with DHA license to practice in Dubai UAE.

4.4 Fluent in spoken & written English, Arabic language is desirable, but not essential.
