Job Description

An Occupational Therapist is a DOH-licensed allied health professional who enhances functional independence and quality of life for individuals with physical, developmental, emotional, or cognitive limitations.

Scope of Services Includes:

  • Evaluation and rehabilitation of patients to develop, recover, or maintain daily living and work-related skills.
  • Restoration and compensation for motor, cognitive, or sensory dysfunctions.
  • Use of client-centered approaches to enhance participation in meaningful activities across the lifespan.
  • Education on adaptive strategies, assistive devices, and modification of environments to remove barriers to participation.
  • Collaborating with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize care outcomes.

The Occupational Therapist will provide services independently, in alignment with their license and following best practices.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATION, LICENSURE, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SPECIAL SKILLS

  • Currently licensed in country of origin and with DOH license to practice
  • Licensed healthcare professional Occupational Therapists will provide services based on specific experience and educational qualifications to practice safely and effectively in a way that is in accordance with evidence based best practices. 
  • Fluent in spoken & written English, Arabic language is mandatory
