Ave campus services our Year 7-9 and our Year 10 – 12 students are located on the Albert Street campus. 60% of our
college students identify as ATSI (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander).

to strengthen their knowledge and understanding of assessment capable visible learners. We continue to create strong
connections with the school community to improve attendance and engagement inclusive of Moree community groups,
Moree Local AECG and external agencies.
Our campuses are located within the centre of Moree which also hosts outstanding recreation, sporting, banking,
performing arts and shopping facilities. You can travel daily by air and train to Newcastle, the Hunter Valley and Sydney
and by bus to Brisbane. This position also offers attractive additional incentives under the Rural Teacher Incentives
program and we welcome early career and experienced teachers to apply.
1. Approval to teach Personal Development, Health & Physical Education 7 – 12.
2. Proven capacity to use effective classroom management skills and wellbeing practices to create PDHPE classrooms and outdoor environments that are dynamic, engaging, inclusive, and foster a culture of high expectations.
3. Developed interpersonal, communication and organisational skills, with the ability to build positive relationships and
collaborate with students, staff, parents and the wider community.
From 8 November 2021 all Department of Education employees undertaking relevant work, including any work conducted on a NSW school site, will be required to meet mandatory double vaccination requirements against COVID-19. The successful candidate for this position will be required to meet mandatory double vaccination requirements prior to the Department of Education finalising the appointment of the candidate and entry on duty. The successful applicant will be appointed to Moree Secondary College and initially based at Carol Avenue campus.
