Medical Translator Job Vacancy | Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Responsible for verbal and written translations as and when required relating but not limited to reason for a medical visit, past medical history, family medical history, as well as explaining medical and surgical procedures, giving medical care instructions, providing drug information and scheduling follow-up appointments.
- Responsible for assisting Physicians with Medical translations during but not limited to patients’ consultations, IP Ward patient visits, patients attending appointments with visiting Doctors and others as requested.
- Attending scheduled and unscheduled patients’ appointments requiring translators as and when requested.
- Translating information into a patient’s native language in simple terms.
- Ensures to translate only what Dr is instructing and never to give own medical opinion or diagnosis 3.6 Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service to all patients and families.
- Complete the daily Translation logs and Translation reports as instructed by direct supervisor. 3.9 Other duties as per business operational needs.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduate or its equivalent
- Preferably 2 years as Medical Translator or 1 year exposure into medical field in a translating role,
- Ability to precisely and accurately translate critical medical information from English to the Patient’s native language.
