You will be working mainly at customer sites from a fully stocked company supplied medium sized service van which has a bespoke racking system holding parts, hand and power tools and specialist installation and test equipment to allow you to complete your jobs.

As the Customer Engineering / Maintenance Technician, you will

  • Install and maintain

      • Pipelines.
      • Ambient and electrical vaporizers.
      • Pressure, flow, level and temperature control instrumentation.

  • Capacity to read layout drawings and system schematics (P&ID’s).
  • A good driving record
  • Confidence and interpersonal skills when dealing with customers.

What We Offer
We need dedicated and driven people who are committed to getting it right with a never-ending desire to learn, improve and contribute.

In return, we offer a competitive salary & benefits package, a culture of respect, challenge and innovation – with excellent opportunities for growth and development.

We will provide a bespoke training program for the Maintenance Technician role which is typically run from our CryoEase centre of excellence offices in Worcester.

This will therefore require time away from home in the first months of training but for the right candidate this training program is fully flexible with senior technicians and management also travelling to Ireland to provide field training after initial inductions at Worcester. Training is then ongoing with a computer based ‘Learning Solutions Online’ program and external training where required.

Normal working hours are 40 per week Monday to Friday, but flexibility is important as to meet the needs of the business this role may involve working outside normal hours (rarely on weekends unless supporting occasional customer shutdowns for maintenance) where overtime rates are paid.

We thank all applicants in advance for their interest; however, only those applicants who are being considered for an interview, or are currently employed by Air Products, will be contacted.
At Air Products, we work in an environment where diversity is crucial, inclusion is in our culture, and each person knows they belong and matter!
You will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, colour, religion, national origin, age, citizenship, gender, marital status, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, disability, or veteran status.

We look forward to hearing from you.
